Huliot Pipes & Fittings Pvt. Ltd. is committed to manufacturing premium PP piping systems in a manner that is environmentally responsible, socially fair, and transparently governed. This policy governs our Vadodara manufacturing operations, our supply chain, and our product stewardship obligations.
Environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and transparent governance are integrated into how we design, manufacture, and sell.
Polypropylene contains no chlorine, no plasticisers, and no heavy-metal stabilisers. It generates no dioxins when incinerated and is fully recyclable at end of life. Every metre of Huliot PP piping we sell displaces a metre of PVC from India's buildings.
Our Vadodara plant operates under a certified ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System. We set annual targets for energy intensity, water use, solid waste diversion, and solvent consumption — and we track them monthly.
We conduct lifecycle assessments (LCA) on our core product lines and make the data available to MEP consultants specifying IGBC, GRIHA, GEM, or LEED India credits. PP pipe carries one of the lowest cradle-to-gate carbon footprints of any piping material.
Offcuts and rejects from our PP production lines are granulated and re-introduced into non-pressure product lines. We target less than 3% landfill waste from manufacturing scrap by 2027.
We are progressively eliminating single-use plastic packaging from distribution and replacing it with recyclable cardboard banding and reusable pallet wrap.
Huliot India's Vadodara manufacturing facility is certified to ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety. We report Lost Time Injury Frequency (LTIF) monthly and maintain a target of zero recordable incidents.
We employ directly and through contractors, with equal pay, PF, ESIC, and gratuity entitlements for all permanent employees. Contract workers are engaged through CLRA-compliant arrangements.
We prioritise raw material procurement from Indian suppliers wherever technical specifications permit. Resin, masterbatch, packaging, and fabricated components are sourced preferentially from Gujarat and Maharashtra suppliers.
We run structured on-the-job training programmes for installation contractors and plumbers. Our annual Huliot Installer Certification Programme has trained over 400 plumbers across Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
Huliot India contributes to the Vadodara community through employee-led CSR activities focused on water conservation awareness — consistent with our product mission of clean, efficient water distribution.
All Huliot India products are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certification, independently audited annually by Bureau Veritas. Batch traceability is maintained from resin lot to finished product.
We submit our products to SKZ (Suddeutsches Kunststoff-Zentrum, Wurzburg) and Fraunhofer for independent performance validation — not internal claims. Published test data governs all product technical sheets.
Huliot India maintains a zero-tolerance anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy aligned with the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. All commercial relationships are governed by written agreements, and no facilitation payments are permitted.
Direct suppliers of raw materials and components are assessed against a Supplier Code of Conduct covering environmental compliance, labour standards, and business ethics. High-risk suppliers are subject to on-site audits.
We publish this ESG Policy on our website and update it annually. Material changes to our environmental performance, safety record, or governance structure are disclosed to our parent company (Huliot Group, Israel) and to customers upon request.
Our products provide certified, independently tested contribution data to four major Indian and international green building standards.
Huliot PP and stainless steel systems contribute to IGBC credits across Water Efficiency (WE), Materials and Resources (MR), and Innovation in Design (ID) categories. We provide IGBC-formatted product declarations to specifying consultants on request.
Developed by TERI and supported by MoHUA, GRIHA evaluates buildings on 34 criteria. Huliot systems contribute to Criterion 12 (Water Management), Criterion 14 (Waste Management), and Criterion 20 (Building Materials).
GEM rates new and existing buildings on a 0-135 point scale (GEM 1 to GEM 5) across energy efficiency, water conservation, and sustainable material use. Huliot PP systems directly displace higher-embodied-carbon PVC, contributing to Material Use credits.
USGBC LEED adapted for India. Huliot Inox 316L stainless steel and PP-R systems qualify under Materials and Resources credits including recycled content declarations, regional material sourcing, and low-emitting material classifications.
The case for polypropylene over PVC is not marketing — it is chemistry and lifecycle data.
PP can be recycled at end of life into non-pressure applications. PVC recycling is technically difficult and rarely practised at scale in India.
PVC production uses chlorine and produces organochlorine byproducts. PP is a pure hydrocarbon — no chlorine, no dioxins, no toxic smoke when burned.
PP pipes require no lead, cadmium, or tin-based heat stabilisers — unlike many legacy PVC formulations still in use across India.
PP pipe has a lower cradle-to-gate carbon footprint per unit of flow capacity than rigid PVC or CPVC, as confirmed by independent LCA studies.
PP systems are designed for 50-year service life at rated pressure and temperature — reducing replacement frequency and total lifecycle material use.
Huliot PP-R and Huliot Inox 316L are certified for potable water contact. No leaching of plasticisers, solvents, or heavy metals.

Consultants, auditors, and project teams can request the following from our sustainability team:
Huliot India's ESG Policy is aligned with the sustainability framework of Huliot Group (Israel). Group-level reporting covers Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions across all manufacturing operations including Vadodara. India operations contribute to Group water use and waste metrics.
Every environmental claim on this website and in our product literature is backed by independent third-party test data or certification. We do not make unverified sustainability claims. Where data is estimated, it is clearly labelled as such.
